How to Add Videos to Your Blog

Video Support

This blog supports embedding videos from:

• YouTube (privacy-enhanced)
• Google Drive (your personal videos)

YouTube Videos

To embed a YouTube video, use the VideoPlayer component:

Note: In actual blog posts, you'll need to convert to MDX or use TSX format to use components.

YouTube video ID format: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VIDEO_ID

Google Drive Videos

For private videos hosted on your Google Drive:

1. Upload video to Google Drive
2. Share with "Anyone with link can view"
3. Extract file ID from URL
4. Use VideoPlayer component with driveId prop

Video Gallery

You can also create a gallery of multiple videos for tutorial series or playlists.

Tips

• Use high quality thumbnails
• Add video duration for better UX
• Keep videos under 10 minutes for engagement
• Add timestamps in description
